Our great value ski clothing will offer you protection from the elements whilst keeping you warm and dry.
You will find that our jackets offer a range of waterproofing, 2,000, 5,000, 10,000mmm. This number indicates the industry standard for measuring the pressure at which water can permeate the fabric, therefore the higher the number the better the quality of the jacket. On the more expensive jackets taped seams will make sure that rain is kept from getting through the stitching.
Ventilated Ski Jackets
For a jacket to work effectively and keep you dry on the inside the outer fabric and lining needs to be breathable. Even while resting a person will perspire more than half a litre of fluid in a day; you'll lose considerably more when you're active on the slopes . For more extreme conditions, for example when ski touring or walking in the sun, some jackets offer ventilation zips to speed up the airing process.
Most of our jackets come with an integrated or detachable hood, snowskirt to keep snow and drafts from riding up the base of the garment, and multiple pockets for maps, passes and chocolate bars.
