When heading out on a day hike, a good rucksack is worth its weight in gold. Day packs will be offer between 15 and 30 litres of space. For a short summer evening stroll you are not going to need to take much with you, but for anything longer it is always better to leave space in a bigger pack.
Today’s rucksacks have become quite advanced, made from performance fabrics with a top and side pockets, internal frames, adjustable straps and hip belts.
Large Capacity Backpacks
A variety of ventilation systems are available across our day pack range. A more recent addition to smaller rucksacks these designs have filtered down from large capacity rucksacks. Some designs have a nylon mesh stretched across a frame, to keep the bag away from your back, while others have foam backs with grooves to allow perspiration to dissipate.
Finally with all the practicalities considered the other key distinguishing feature is the way the bag looks. You'll notice that our packs are available in many colours, shapes and designs. This decision comes down to your personal preference so why not choose something that will look good on you!
