With Spring looming, we’ve partnered with the wonderful Hay Festival in Wales.
Described as “the Woodstock of the mind”, Hay Festival brings together the most established writers with readers around the world to share stories whilst enjoying the stunning backdrop of the Brecon Beacons.
Set amongst the rolling hills, dramatic waterfalls and picturesque local village, we will be sponsoring a variety of talks and walks at the festival. Read more HERE.
We’re offering one lucky pair the chance to win a much sought-after golden ticket to the festival. This exclusive golden ticket gives you and a friend five pairs of event tickets to use at any of the talks during the festival. In the line up so far, are talks by presenter Stacey Dooley, last year’s Man Booker Prize winning author Anna Burns, writer and presenter Sandi Tosvig, comedian Jimmy Carr and many more! ENTRY
• Entry is made by commenting under our Hay Golden Tickets Facebook post and tagging a friend. No purchase necessary.
• To enter the competition, entrants must tag a friend, and both must be following (@mountain warehouse) on Facebook.
• Entries open between Sunday 7th April and closes at 23.59 on Friday 12th April.
• Competition must be entered in each Entrant’s own name using a Facebook or Instagram account registered in their own name; it may not be entered on behalf of anyone else.
• Mountain Warehouse does not accept any responsibility for late, lost, delayed or non-receipted entries and cannot be held responsible for any inability to submit entries as a result of computer service, systems and/or server failure, error, interruption, defect or delay or any other technical malfunction.
ELGIBILITY
• Entrants must be aged 18 or over and resident of the United Kingdom.
• Entrants must have access to the internet and a valid Facebook or Instagram account to enter. No postal or email entries will be accepted.
• Entry is limited to one per person. No bulk, software-generated, automatic or 3rd party entries will be accepted. False entries will be disqualified.
• The competition is not open to employees or contractors of Mountain Warehouse, their immediate families or any persons connected with Hay Festival.
THE WINNER
• A winner will be selected at random from all eligible entrants within 48 hours of the closing date.
• The Prize Winner will be notified initially via “private message” on Facebook and will be required to private message the Mountain Warehouse team back using the same account with which the draw was entered to confirm acceptance of the prize.
• If Mountain Warehouse receives no response from the winner within 72 hours of initial contact, it reserves the right to withdraw their place and offer to another entrant.
• The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
THE PRIZE
• There will be one prize winner, who will receive a Golden Ticket to the 2019 Hay Festival. The prize includes five pairs of tickets to events of the winner’s choosing from the whole programme (subject to availability). The Golden ticket will be posted to the winner.
• Please note transport and accommodation are not included in any part of the prize and winners will need to make their own way to and from the Festival. You can find out more by visiting HayFestival.org

• The prize is non-transferable and no cash alternative will be offered.
OTHER
• By participating, the winner of the Prize releases the Promoter, and its respective parent, affiliates, directors, officers, employees or agencies of any of the above organisations from any and all liability for any injuries, losses or damages of any kind caused by the Prize or resulting from acceptance, possession or use/misuse of the Prize.
• Winners details will be used for communication around the supply and fulfilment of the Prize only.
• The Promoter may terminate, amend or withdraw this prize draw and/or these terms and conditions at any time.
• Entry to the prize draw is conditional on acceptance of these terms and conditions. By entering the competition, you are deemed to have read and accepted these terms.
