Thank you to everyone that entered our Steve Backshall photo competition! We received a wide variety of pictures of you in your Steve Backshall gear. The photos included entrants bird watching on high cliffs, rock climbing, and some even dared to have their pictures taken with a snake!
After great deliberation we choose our competition winners and on Monday 14th November we met up with lucky lot; Louis, Alex, Edward, Oliver, Sophie, Jessica and Sam (and their mums, dads & grans) at the busy York Grand Theatre & Opera House. From there we headed back stage to meet TV presenter, adventurer and writer Steve Backshall.
Backstage the winners had time to speak to Steve about his adventures, expeditions and favourite animals. They then headed off to watch Steve’s live show, Wild World, where they learnt more about the journeys and expeditions that inspired his recent novels ‘The Falcon Chronicles’.
