Durable and compact, the Porta Potti is an ideal companion wherever you are on the road. Each portable toilet features a flush mechanism, ergonomic carry handle, a removable seat and cover and two water tanks - fresh water and waste water. The waste water holding tank features a fully sealed valve, which prevents odours from escaping. The Thetford Porta Potti exclusively features the Thetford Pour Out Spout - this ensures there's no backsplash during the emptying process. Common questions: What is the difference between the 100, 300 and 500 series? The models feature different flush systems and level indicators. The 100 series has no level indicator, the 300 features an indicator on the waste tank only, whereas the 500 features indicators on both tanks. The 100 series features a bellows pump. With a bellows pump you will need to manually push up and down on the flush button several times to create enough pressure to release the water. The 300 series features a piston pump - just pull the piston up once and the toilet will flush. The 565P features a piston pump whereas the 565E features a battery powered electric flush system. What is the weight capacity? 120kg is the max weight capacity for all Porta Potti models. Is there a warranty? Yes, all Thetford toilets come with a three year warranty. See Thetford site for more information. This does not affect your statutory rights. What should I use to clean the toilet? We recommend using only Thetford cleaning products to clean the toilet. In particular we don't recommend using stiff brushes or homemade products to clean or lubricate the waste water valve. This can lead to damage to the waste water seal, allowing odours to escape. What's the best way to store and transport the toilet? The toilets are lightweight, durable and feature a carry handle. This makes them easy to store and transport. For added ease we recommend the Thetford carry bag (available separately).
